As a woman I am so proud of the fact that for the first time in Olympic history all the 200 participating countries have sent women to compete in the games! The US alone has 269 women and 261 men, how awesome is that!! This means you’ll see more 2 piece bathing suits, leotards, glitter, and eye shadows than ever! We’ve been glued to the television watching these women perform extra ordinary feats. Competing in sports that many years ago was unheard of for a woman to be in. To make us take note of the extra femininity in the games, the ladies are now showing off their beautiful nail art. I’ve noticed the different flags, the Olympic rings (as above) and many other dazzling designs. I don’t ever remember a time while watching the Olympics when I was noticing manicures!I want to somehow show these women my support. I am going to go out and get my own patriotic manicure, even though I am usually a one-color nail polish girl.
